Supporting Your Mental Health with Flower Essences đŸŒș

Girl,

We are in the middle of quite a mess, aren’t we? The stores are bare, there’s no damn toilet paper anywhere, and we’re all walking around with gloves & masks on like we’re extras on Grey’s Anatomy. The truth is, this whole pandemic has turned us into interesting versions of ourselves. Some of us don’t mind this new anxious, neat-freak, germaphobe version of ourselves, whereas others are doing all they can not to drown in a sea of panic.

Then there are some who can barely muster up the strength to get out of bed because just hearing the word coronavirus or pandemic is too much for them to handle. We miss our jobs, we miss enjoying time with friends and family, and we miss our normal life. THIS. IS. HARD. And it is ok if you are having a hard time with this new normal. What’s not ok is suffering while getting through this.

So, in my effort to do my part and support you all, I am now offering custom made flower essence to aid us through these tough times.

What Are Flower Essences?

Flower essences were created by Dr. Edward Bach, a German physician, and homeopath who found that a person’s negative emotions played a significant role in how or if they healed from certain diseases/conditions. In fact, he felt so strongly about this that he dedicated his life to teaching people the importance of prioritizing our mental health in pursuit of physical health.

According to Dr. Bach,

“The actions of certain flowers, shrubs, and trees that grow in the wild raise our vibrations and open our channels for the reception of the Spiritual Self to flood our natures with the particular virtue we need, and wash out from us the fault that is causing the harm. They are able, like beautiful music or any glorious uplifting thing that gives us inspiration, to raise our very natures to bring us nearer to our Souls, and by that very act bring us peace and relieve our sufferings. They cure not by attacking the disease, but by flooding our bodies with the beautiful vibrations of our higher nature, in the presence of which disease melts away as snow in the sunshine. There is not true healing unless there is a change in outlook, peace of mind, and inner happiness”.

The beauty of the flower essence is that it opens us up to the particular virtue or character that we need most in our times of discontentment. The frequency of the Flower Essence Larch corresponds to the human potential that has to do with self-esteem. Taking Larch sends a harmonizing impulse into the specific area of the human energy field that has warped this potential and, when taken over time, it reestablishes the positive behavior pattern: lack of confidence transforms into self-esteem (1).

In other words, the Bach Flower acts as a catalyst, reconnecting our Soul and our personality. The Soul can be “heard’ again by the personality. Where there were disharmony and rigidity, life flows as one again (1). Or as Bach put it,

“A person that ‘wasn’t quite himself anymore’ is now restored to be ‘fully himself’”.

What Are Bach Flower Remedies Made Of?

Bach Flower Remedies are made by putting a nearly full-bloom flower of a plant into a glass bowl filled with water and placing it in the sun until the flower wilts.  The life force or energy of the flower is imprinted into the water (which is later preserved with some alcohol, vinegar, or glycerin). My custom blends are made with the “Mother Flower Essence”, spring water, and alcohol (I will also have apple cider vinegar and un-preserved options as well).

How Do You Know Which Flower I Need?

This where I’ll need your help. After you purchase your flower essence, I will send you a link to a form for you to complete so that I can determine which flowers you’ll need for your specific concerns. This form is private and will only be seen by me. It will take you about 10-15 minutes to complete.

Are These Safe for Pregnant Women, Kids, etc.?

The beauty of flower essences is that they are safe for the whole family. For pregnant women, children, and pets I suggest an un-preserved formula or one with apple cider vinegar instead of alcohol. Please note that the un-preserved flower essence should be refrigerated and will last for 3-4 months.
